Returns Policy
We gladly accept returns of most new, unused items in their original condition (unopened) within 30 days of delivery. To complete your return:
- The product(s) must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
- It must be unused and in the same condition as it was received.
- The product(s) must be in their original packaging.
Exchanges
Melanin Haircare does not offer exchanges. If you need to return a product, please follow the returns process to receive a refund. You may then place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, if in the expected condition, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If a reasonable period of time has passed and your refund still hasn't been posted to your bank account, please contact Customer Care for further instruction.
How does the returns policy work?
We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you wish to return a product, please follow these steps:

Contact Customer Care: Reach out to our Customer Care team to obtain access to our return portal and receive further instructions.

Access the Return Portal: Once you have access, you can self-serve your own return through the portal.

Create Your Return: After creating your return within the portal, you will receive a return label via email.
Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of returning the product(s).
Melanin Haircare does not provide prepaid return labels for authorized returns. Customers are responsible for covering the cost of returning the product(s) to our facility.
The returns process is as follows:

Contact Customer Care: Before returning your product(s), please contact our Customer Care team to authorize the return and receive access to our return portal.

Access the Return Portal: Once you have access, you can self-serve your own return through the portal and receive further instructions on how to return the product(s) to our facility.

Create Your Return: After creating your return within the portal, you will receive a return label via email.

Return the Product(s):Follow the instructions to send the product back to our facility.

Inspection: Once the return is received, it will be inspected to ensure it’s in good condition.

Refund Process: If the return is approved following the inspection, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment.
Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of returning the product(s). Refunds are not processed until the return has been received, inspected, and approved by our team.
