Sesamum Indicum Seed oil, commonly known as Sesame Seed Oil, is the oil obtained from the pressing of sesame seeds. One of the oldest plants used for creating Ayurvedic oils, it is both edible and used topically. With high levels of natural antioxidants, oleic and linoleic fatty acids, and vitamin E, B complex and K, sesame seed oil nourishes the hair root, encouraging healthy hair growth, and improving elasticity. It’s also rich in amino acids and has antioxidant properties to help repair the hair and scalp.
